As soon as she finished unpacking, Leah was already feeling stressed. Her godmother,Marianne, was talking and talking and talking, and asking questions about her life, and saying things to make her feel better, and welcoming her. All Leah could do was nodding her head and offering Marianne one of those fake smiles, to make her happy. She felt suffocated, and opened her window. The fresh air, was almost hitting her face, and Leah closed her eyes. It didn't feel like home, nowhere felt like home, and she kinda got used to it. Leah sighed and stared at her reflection on the small mirror. She wasn't a normal girl, or an ugly one. Actually for most of the guys, she was really attractive. Her bright blue eyes, looked back and she sighed. Leah grabbed her purse and opened the front door." I'm going out!" She yelled so Marianne would hear, and walked out of the house, into the city, her new home. Leah walked for a while, and entered the Grill, apparently, according to her aunt, the only place where all the teenagers got together, and played pool, or drank. It was the perfect place for her to meet someone, or just to drink. Leah walked to the bar, and sat on one of the chairs, waiting for the bartender to talk. As soon as he appeared, she offered one of her charming smiles." A martini, please." The bartender winked softly, and in just a few seconds, her drink was already in front of her. Leah stared at the rest of the people, taking short sips of her drink. Her dark hair, was covering half of her face, but she just remained silent, as always. Being the new girl was nice, nobody knew about the accident or her past. A perfect place to start over.

Isabella Phoebe Hale, was laying on her bed, in her new home. A old empty house a bit outside of the small town of Mystic Falls. Only a few days, had passed since she had arrived her. Still, Isabella kept asking herself, what had brought her here, she hated small towns, so there was absolutely no sense for her to be here. But the truth was, her curiosity had brought her here. Isa had heard, that this town was full of vampires, what was quite rare. Since most vampires, preferred to stay alone. At least, she did. Isabella had never been someone who had liked with others. She was far to selfish to care about anyone else then herself. A long time ago, she had also decided to give up on emotions. To her they seemed completely useless. They did hurt and made you act illogical, she thought. Happily it was easy to turn emotions off, once you were a vampire. Not that she had asked for being a vampire, this all had happened to her unintentional, it had not been her intention to be changed, but now she had to live with the fact that she was a vampire and if Bella was honest, she did enjoy it.
She loved the idea of never getting old and of doing whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. That was also a reason, why she did like to be on her own. Sighing, she started to play with a strand of her dark brown curly hair. What was a sign, that she was bored. Finally she rolled out of the bed and walked through the room. Checking her look in a big mirror on the wall. Thinking about what to do next, it was already a late evening, so there wouldn't be many people outside anymore. Not that she felt thirst for blood right now, but she wanted to be entertained. After another minute in front of the mirror, she decided it was time to take a shower, change clothes and then get outside of this house. So she walked fast over to her huge closet and looked through all her clothes, which were quite a lot. Since Isabella loved fashion and was always wearing the newest fashion. Finally, she found some exciting white underwear and a nice white, blue dress. Then she walked over to a small dresser on which she was having her make-up and her jewelery and picked a pair of earrings, a matching ring and blue hairband. Before she walked out of her room and into the small bathroom.
There she took a shower, brushed her teeth, followed by drying her body and her hair. Then she put on the underwear, followed by the white, blue dress and her earrings and her ring. Then she put the hair band in her hair. She walked out of the bath, back into the room. Where she put on some make-up and got a pair of matching blue high heels. On her way out of her room, she grabbed a matching purse. Then she left the house and walked to her car. Isabella started the engine and drove down the streets to the center of town. There she parked her car and turned off the engine. Before, she got out of the car, she checked her outfit once more and then got outside of the car, locking it while she was walking away from it. There were not many people outside anymore, she noticed what probably came from the fact that it was already dark. What for sure made Isabella feel more comfortable.
As she walked through the streets, she saw a small Grill, a place where many people seemed to sit inside. For a moment, she thought of just visiting town and returning later. But then she made the decision to just go in there and have a drink. So she walked across the street over to the small Grill. As she stepped inside, she saw that many of the small tables seemed full. So she walked over to the bar and sat down beside a young girl. "A tequila sunrise, please." she told the bartender with a charming smile on her face. He grinned at her conspiratorially and then gave her the drink. Sighing lightly, Isabella looked around the Grill, but there seemed to be no other vampires, not even interesting guys, she thought to herself. "Oh great, I love being new to town, knowing no one and no really fun places to go!" she mumbled to herself. Looking, lost in her thoughts, down at her glass for a moment.

Leah placed her glass on the table after she finished her drink. She waved to the Bartender, and asked him for another one, yes she was going to get drunk, if that was enough to make her forget that she wasn't at home. Suddenly, a girl sat next to her, and order for tequila. Leah gazed at her for a moment, raising her eyebrows. "Tough Night? She asked, looking at the strong drink, the girl had ordered. No, Leah wasn't usually the type that was nice with other girls, but whatever, she didn't want to be a psycho bitch on her first day in town. She could almost tell the boring look that the girl had on her face, just like the one Leah, herself was having. This town was supposed to be peaceful, but boring aswell. She started to play with her brown hair, looking at the people. No one that caught her attention actually, they were all laughing with their friends, and Leah was starting to feel like an outsider. She started to wonder why the girl was there alone, could it be that she wasn't the only new girl in town? This was starting to be interesting.

Isabella listened to the silent music that was playing in the background. She closed her eyes for a moment, so she could enjoy it and slowly moved one of her feet to the beat. Then she opened her eyes again and took her drink and sipped on it. Her glance went around the small Grill again. Where all the people were sitting around on the small tables, chatting and laughing with each other. It was amusing to her, to see how all this humans were enjoying their little pitiful lives, with no idea what was really going on in town at the moment. Isabella had never been a too big fan of humans, since her change. For her they were walking blood bags, nothing more. Sure she had been human in the past as well, but still now she was a vampire and there was definitely nothing human about her anymore. This humans were just weak with their emotions and they were so fragile, what made it so easy to kill them, at least in her opinion. Isabella was happy that, she was not one of them she enjoyed being young forever, being strong and dangerous and having no emotions at all, short she loved being perfect.
Still, she felt bored and after she had looked around the Grill once more, she was even more unhappy with her decision to come here. She had at least expected to meet some other vampires here in the more crowded places. But still nothing. Also there was not even one interesting or good looking guy around, which would have been an easy victim for her. Sighing, she turned her attention back to her drink. It was good at least, that she felt no need to feed on anyone right now, she thought to herself. There was no burning in her throat, besides the slight burning of the alcohol, which was numbed her desire for blood even more. But she knew it was necessary to stay in control, after all she had planed to stay here for a bit longer. So killing randomly people in this small Grill was no good idea. But still, she thought, that she had to think of a way, to cause other vampires attention, so that she would finally get to meet some others.
Not that she liked company or caring for others. But still she was curious. Isabella rather was a loner, she liked being selfish and doing whatever she wanted. So, someone who wanted to join her, was not such a good idea. Sure, deep down inside of her a part wished, that she could at least find, one person that wanted to be with her and that loved her the way she was, a mate, her true love. Fast she pushed that thought aside, she don't wanted to think about that, think about emotions she could develop for someone. Isabella had to stay concentrated on being perfect. She was torn out of her thoughts, when someone said to her "Tough Night?" She turned around to look at the person, who had just spoken to her and noticed that it was the girl beside her. She seemed pretty human to Isabella, what normally meant she was from no interest for her, but right now everything was better, then sitting around here and being bored.
"Yes, a really tough night in a way!" she answered with a perfectly human looking acted thankful, crooked smile on her face. Then she explained a moment later "I just moved to town and don't know anyone or anything around here..." "I still don't know feel really at home here, since I miss my beautiful home back in New York..." she added with a small sigh. Inwardly she was smiling about herself and about how well, she was doing at being human. Now she watched the other girl more carefully. The Girl, was kind of nice looking with her long dark brown hair and her light blue eyes, at least for a human. A moment later Isabella asked her smiling another perfectly acted compassionate smile "But you seem to have a tough night as well...so what's your story?" Then took another sip of her drink, before she held out her hand towards the other girl and said "Oh, how impolite of me, to not introduce myself, my name is Isabella Hale, but call me Bella or just B, whatever you prefer..." with another crooked smile on her face and then waited what the girl was going to say.

Leah carefully placed the already empty glass on the bar, trying not to make any noise. She was always thinking about those little details, the way someone walked, the way she was sitting and if her nails were perfect. She couldn't help being a little perfectionist, all her life was based on creating the best image, that could hide her awful past, and now, it wasn't the time to start crying for no reason. That's why she moved to Mystic Falls, right? She sighed deeply, and started curling her hair on one finger. Her eyes were wandering around the bar, staring at the bartender, the way he poured the drinks, and how he moved his hands to perform his job. She wasn't really paying attention though. As always, her mind was flying around the room, full of thoughts, right now, about what to do with her new life. Leah was kind of a loner as well, she enjoyed being with people, but her best memories, always happened when she was alone. Not that she was antisocial, or anything. She just enjoyed being by herself, with an ipod, and probably a cigarette. As soon as Leah heard the girl talking, she offered her best fake smile, and stared at her, with her blue eyes. "Don't say! I just got here as well from New York! Big change, huh? I cannot say this town's been really interesting since I got here.." She rolled her eyes, waving a thin hand through the air, calling the bartender. " A cosmopolitan. I need a drink that will match my shoes." Leah stared at her heels, the pink manolos had been a present from her last boyfriend. Unfortunately, those were the first shoes that she found on the suitcase, she wasn't a 'Pink Girl' exactly. Leah nodded, looking at Isabella. "My pleasure. I'm Leah Gale, and you're probably the first person i talked to since i got here. Funniest town ever." Leah started sipping on her Cosmopolitan, looking at the bartender.

While she waited for the other girls answers, she took another sip from her drink. It was almost a surprise to her, that she could be that patient. After all, normally things needed to happen immediately once, she she wanted something to be done. That probably came from the time of her human life. Isabella had been the only child, of rich parents, who had loved her dearly. They had done whatever she wanted, just to make her happy. So Isabella had always been the child with the greatest toys, when she had been little and when she had turned older she had always had the newest and nicest dresses. Also through the fact, that her parents had been rich, people had always given her a lot of attention. It had never been a problem for her, to find a date for a ball or friends to talk to. With the time, that had made her really demanding. But on the other hand, Isabella had always known what she wanted out of life and most of the time she had gotten what she had wanted.
The first time that had been a problem to her, had been when her father had wanted to get her married. Bella, still remembered how he had talked to her about it and that he had told her, that he wanted that someone cared for her, once he and her mother would die. To that time Isabella had not wanted to hear it, but she had agreed to it. That way, she had met Henry, the vampire who had later changed her. When she had seen him for the first time, she had thought, he was the most perfect guy she had ever seen. He had been the only one that could understand her, she had thought. After all, she had thought, she was just as perfect as him. So she had told her father, that he was the choice she had made and soon a weeding was announced. It should have been the biggest and most impressive weeding of all times. But things had gone a different way. A few days before the weeding, Henry had taken her to a ride with him into the forest, so they could get to know each other. There he had attacked and changed her.
Isabella remembered still, how she had woke up in the forest, being just as perfect as he was. But once, he had told her what he had done to her, she had gotten angry and had killed him in her rage, what had been a mistake to that time probably, she thought. After that she had to leave home and find out everything herself. Becoming a monster, that killed everyone that was in her way. Happily, she had learned at some point how to turn off the emotions. That was the way, she had become who she was now and that was exactly what she wanted to be, she thought to herself. She was torn out of her thoughts, when the other girl said to her "Don't say! I just got here as well from New York! Big change, huh? I cannot say this town's been really interesting since I got here.." rolling her eyes. Isabella laughed and nodded in agreement, then said "Oh yes, it really is a big change, I mean I really miss all the noises and all the people and the lights at night, this small town just does not feel like a home, I have to admit I'm a real big city girl..." A moment later she added "But seems, like I have to get used to this small boring town now..." and made a gesture with her hand around herself to underline her words. "So what brings you here to this small paradise?" she asked sarcastically.
She heard how Leah ordered "A cosmopolitan. I need a drink that will match my shoes." and grinned silently to herself. Then looked for a moment modestly down at the girls shoes, which where pink manolos. So this girl seemed to have a good taste, when it came to fashion, she thought. So she said giving the girl another crooked smile "Seems like I found someone else, with a good fashion sense, but on the other hand, what to expect from a New Yorker?" and laughed about her last comment. When the girl introduced herself "My pleasure. I'm Leah Gale, and you're probably the first person i talked to since i got here. Funniest town ever." Isabella said a moment later "Nice to meet you Leah" with another perfectly acted nice smile. Then responded "How small the world is..." with an amused smile at Leah. "So, I guess you are going to high school here now as well?" she asked a moment later. Then added a moment later "I really hope this school isn't to bad, beside the fact that it is school and hopefully they will have some nice guys there..." still smiling. "Because from what I have seen until now, the choices are really limited.." she said sighing looking around the grill once more, hoping to see some interesting guy, but still nothing. Isabella took another sip from her drink and then waited for Leah's answers.

Leah laughed softly, sipping on her cosmopolitan. Her right hand was playing with her own hair, curling it again, and again on one finger. As soon as she finished her third drink, she placed the glass on the table and sighed. Alcohol had barely any effect on her, after years of trying different drinks, she finally had developed some weird immunity to it. She stared at her, and grinning, Leah just quirked an eyebrow. "Well, we do have a beautiful view, I gotta say!" She made a small gesture with her hand, pointing at the rest of the people that were having dinner, or having 'fun' at The Grill. Leah facepalmed and sighed again. "This is pathetic, I still cannot believe I'm here." Leah cleared her throat, as the girl asked her what she was doing there. Honestly, she was asking that same question to herself, a few hours ago the idea of moving to some small town seemed perfect, but now, the only thought of it, made her want to throw herself under a bus. Leah shrugged. "Wanted to be in peace, finally, i got to, probably, the most boring town on America, and right now i'm waiting for something interesting to happen." She sighed, and placed her hands on the bar. You could see she was expecting something, or maybe just waiting for someone, she just wanted someone fun, someone who would take her out of the misery she was in, right now. Leah nodded, as soon as the girl asked the next question. "Yeah..High school, fun. If nothing interesting happen, I'll make it happen, believe me." She meant those words, Leah wasn't going to let people walk all over her, she was planning to get what she wanted, and honestly, most of the times, she succeeded, and right now, that wasn't supposed to change. She wanted to be in the spotlight, and believe me, she was going to be.

Isabella sipped on her drink and thought about her idea of coming here once again. Sure when she had thought of it, back in New York it had sounded like a really good idea to her. The thought of causing some trouble here in town and meeting some other vampires, had sounded fun, when she had first thought about it. But right now, she was not sure, if that had really been such a good idea. After all, this town seemed pretty boring to her right now and she was not sure if that was going to change, even if she met other vampires. But the had been not the only reason, of course why she had left New York. The other and probably more important reason was, that she was not aging. What was on the one side great, but on the other side she hated that she had to move so much because of it. Again she wondered why she had picked that small town, she hated small towns, there was really nothing going on there, this place was the proof to her theory.
She was a big town girl, that always needed something to do, so that she did not get bored. Also she loved that in big towns it was easy to hunt for her and that there were a lot of people around to play with. Also she liked all the clubs and shops in the big cities, which ensured that she had always something to do. Lost in her thoughts, Isabella started to play with a strand of her dark brown hair. But she was soon torn out of her thoughts, when Leah said to her "Well, we do have a beautiful view, I gotta say!" Isabella laughed and then answered "Yes, a lot of nature and a lot of green!" A moment later Leah said "This is pathetic, I still cannot believe I'm here." Isabella sighed as well and said then "I can understand you, there are so many great place and where do we have to end up, in Mystic Falls, the most boring town in America!" she added a moment later "I really wish, I had not moved here, but well my father got a job here and so I had to move along, since I have no mother anymore and well, my father is gone most of the time, so I'm all on my own in this boring small town..." with a unhappy expression on her face.
Everything, she had told Leah, was for sure a lie. But Isabella knew, she had to come up with a good story, why she lived outside of town, in this old house all alone. She had thought of this story already, before she had decided to come here and was satisfied with it. It made sense and was a good explanation. "Wanted to be in peace, finally, i got to, probably, the most boring town on America, and right now i'm waiting for something interesting to happen." Leah said in the next moment. Isabella laughed dryly and said "Well, then good luck!" "I think the people around here don't know what interesting means, I'm not even sure if they know words like Party or Having Fun!" When Leah answered her next question "Yeah..High school, fun. If nothing interesting happen, I'll make it happen, believe me." Isabella smiled and then said "Sounds like a good idea, if you need anyone to help you, I would be really up for it!" "This town needs some events and some things to talk about!" "Don't you think?" she laughed and then waited for Leah's answers.

Leah stared at her nails. At the beginning moving to a small town, seemed like a great idea. It was the perfect place to go on with her life, and at the same time, to investigate about her family's death, without making a huge deal out of it. She had always been scared, that if she started to look for information, the mysterious man, would appear and take her too, so back in New York, all she could do was to act sad, and depressed. Leah had a plan, as usual, as always. Ironically, what she wanted to do, was to be in the spotlight, so basically, she was going to be an attention whore, for a few days. So probably, the mysterious man would appear, and she would have the perfect chance to ask him, that question that had been inside her mind, for the last two years. Why her? Leah would look back at B and as soon as her new friend said,"I can understand you, there are so many great place and where do we have to end up, in Mystic Falls, the most boring town in America!" She couldn't help but laughing out loud. "Aren't we lucky girls?!" She would say, sarcastically. Leah, started to play with the empty glass on the table, as she heard Bella's story. She actually felt sorry for the girl, because apparently, being here was almost physically painful for her. Leah would grab her Blackberry out of her pocket and start messaging Marianne, saying that she wasn't going to be home for dinner, when she heard, Bella saying "Sounds like a good idea, if you need anyone to help you, I would be really up for it!" "This town needs some events and some things to talk about!" "Don't you think?" couldn't help but smiling. "Believe me, I would do anything that doesn't mean I'm the new quiet girl on town."

Playing with a strand of her hair, she looked once again around the room. This town really was a new record on her list of most boring towns ever, she thought to herself. Bella sipped on her drink and turned her attention back to the girl in front of her. She seemed lost in her own thoughts as well. What was understandable in a way. After all, every person, that had been sent here into the exile had to suffer a lot, she thought. Nothing seemed to turn out the way, B had planned to. It had been her plan, to go to school, have some fun with the people of this town by influencing them to do funny things and for sure she had thought that that it would be easy to hunt here. Also her curiosity had brought her here, she wanted to get to know some vampires. She had planed to spent her nights and days with other vampires, who were just as perfect, in a more fun place. But instead, she was now sitting here in this small Grill, having a talk with a human girl.
For a moment she wondered if things could get anymore crazy, but then reminded herself that they always could get even worse, so she had to be happy with what she was doing right now, she thought to herself. "Aren't we lucky girls?!" Leah said sarcastically. What even made Isabella smile. She sighed and then said "Oh yes we are the most luckiest and happiest girls in the world!" sarcastically. A moment later Leah added "Believe me, I would do anything that doesn't mean I'm the new quiet girl on town." B nodded in agreement and then said "Okay I totally agree, we definitely have to make some plans!" "Any ideas for something that makes this town wake up?" she laughed. Right now Isabella had to admit, she did at least enjoy the idea of bringing some action to this town, even if that meant working with a human. Then she took another sip from her drink and said then "So you told me you just moved here as well, what brings you here?" "I mean are there any crazy or sad family story's you want to share?" she asked curiously. Looking at her new friend carefully. While she was waiting for her answers impatiently.
