The seven Calhoun siblings were the seven Originals. Klaus, the eldest, Elijah, and Dante were three of Arwen's siblings. Klaus was not far from Mystic Falls but so far staying out of the radar. Arwen was doing his bidding. Elijah... She hadn't seen him in centuries. Klaus wouldn't speak of him either. It confused her. She had heard though that Dante may be coming to town. None of the siblings had heard of Elijah, but it never occured to her that Klaus was keeping them from Elijah or even making out he had killed them. Of course she did know Klaus' big secret. His father was different from the rest of the siblings' father. Their mother had actually had an affair, resulting in Klaus, and the man who had sired Klaus had been of a werewolf bloodline. So technically Klaus was a vampire and werewolf hybrid, but a witch locked away Klaus' werewolf side, using a moonstone, saying no one should have that much power. She also knew - not that Klaus or Elijah knew she did - that they had made up the sun and moon curse in a bid to find the doppleganger, and a werewolf to be used to break the curse. A witch and human were easier to find, as well as also needed. Arwen had no qualms with Klaus getting his werewolf side back. Actually, she couldn't care less. She hadn't cared about a lot in centuries. Her humanity was pretty much locked away at this point although it was seen in the devotion she showed to her two dogs, and of course her close bond with her siblings.
Arwen unfortunately thought of humans as nothing but food, and everyone else as creatures beneath her so therefore nothing but more then vermin to be exterminated. Whilst her new pet, Isabella, was spying on the doppleganger, Salvatores, and the witch for her, Arwen decided to pay the city hall a visit. It wasn't hard to get an invite in. The middle aged man that owned it, who was fat and pretty much balding, clearly got no female attention so when she appeared faking interest in him he showed no hesitation to inviting her in. She didn't even need to compell him. She got him to give her a tour, taking sips from him every now and again as she examined every inch of the city hall. She had to make sure this place was secure for her brother, Klaus, to come when the time came. His safety could not be compromised, and besides, it would be fun if there were some humans she needed to slaughter.
By the time they reached the last room, the room of files and all the secrets the council had, Arwen decided it was time to either kill or compell the middle aged man. If she killed him anyone could get in unless the building was inherited by a family member. If she compelled him she could make it impossible for any other vampire to get in. She'd rather drain the man dry but she knew she should do the latter. Especially if there was good information that needed to be protected from others. Arwen then made a decision. She turned to the man, stared into his eyes, and then spoke, compelling him.
"You will show me all the information the council wishes no one else to know. You will stay with me until I say otherwise. You are not to make a sound unless I give you permission."
She would wait until she had read the information until she decided whether to kill him or not. If there was information that should be hidden she would compell him again and let him live. If there wasn't anything worthy of being protected she would just kill him.
Arwen was just getting into the files the man had showed her when she heard someone. Well, sensed them more like. She inhaled the scents on the breeze and a smile spread across her full lips. A genuine smile. One she had not worn in decades. Maybe centuries. Her brother, Dante, was in the area. He was close. She quickly put the files back and compelled the middle aged man not to invite anyone in under any circumstances, to only let her in, and to not tell anyone about her. With that done Arwen used her vampire speed to run through the large building known as city hall. Within seconds she had ended up at the large double doors which made up the front door. She flung them open to see her bronze haired brother. Her big brother, but then again she was the youngest of the family. Everyone was older then her. She found herself smiling at him as she stood there in her skin tight pure silk snow white halter dress that ended mid-thigh with a slit up the right side to her hip. A pair of gold coloured slip on stilettos on her feet with a gold choker around her swan like neck. Her blonde ringlets were elegantly styled in a half bun.
"Dante."
