Somehow, Leah has built a wall, between the people and her feelings, but if she ever falls in love with someone, that wall will be destroyed, and she'll be completely weak. Thats why she's so afraid of falling in love. She can be Vain, Manipulative and kind of a bitch sometimes, her true self is always shining, sometimes softly. HISTORY.
history:
Leah's history is something quite strong and awful for a normal teenager. Some people wouldn't be able to understand all she's been through. She was born in a town, not really far from New York, on September 14th. She lived there, with her mother, father and her older sister, Claudie, till she was six years old. Because of her dads getting fired, she moved to Texas at the age of seven, and basically started her whole life from scratch. She was able to live happily, till it all happened.
One night, when she was 15. A handsome guy knocked on the Gales door. He was tall and gorgeous. Saying he was Seth's work partner, he was invited in and asked to stay for dinner. The mysterious guy, wouldn't take his eyes from Leah, who was already starting to be a woman, and a seriously pretty one. When Seth got home, he started screaming as soon as he saw the man. Told Leah and Claudie to run away from the house, and go to their uncle's home. Seeing her father's reaction, Leah opened the door and ran and ran till she got to her grandmas house, but as soon as she opened the door, she realized that Claudie wasn't with her.
Two days later, the police found Claudie's and her father's bodies. They had been drained. Her mother, nobody ever heard anything about her.
The day she turned 17, Leah moved to Mystic Falls with her Godmother, Marianne, looking for peace and a new start. She's the new girl in town, and nobody knows her. It was a perfect chance to start over. Unfortunately, obviously, that's not going to happen
