If you are seeking employment, check downtown; many shops and job opportunities lie in wait there. Of course, if teaching is more your strong suit, try the Institute; younger, less experienced citizens are in need of training.

Paranorm is a quiet little town in the middle of nowhere. A peaceful little town, its main center being the institution. Oh yeah, and did we mention? Its citizen all have special abilities that make them a bit more gifted than your average human. And that institution we mentioned? Really a place to gain control of your powers.
