She looked up, staring at the sky. The starts were really bright, probably because of the lack of light of the old street. A soft breeze fanned her face, tickling her dark hair. Katherine closed her eyes for a second, enjoying the smell of the trees. She imagined she was back in 1864, wearing one of those fancy dresses Pearl bought for her, most of the time. She could almost feel, the soft music and Stefan's hand in hers. Katherine shook her head for a couple of seconds, and stared at the empty street. Nobody could see her, she wasn't supposed to be there. But obviously, it was nearly 4 am in the morning. In small towns like Mystic Falls nobody was awake at that time. Katherine started walking along the street, staring at the shops, not really paying attention. Her steps were elegant, but confident at the same time. She placed her hands on her own hair, and started playing with it. The only noise that could be heard was the one, that her heels were making against the cold pavement. "It's good to be back" She whispered to herself, biting her lip and smirking softly. It had been years since she had been at Mystic Falls for the last time, well actually, since the tomb event, but that wasn't exactly something she wanted to remember. She walked and walked, probably for two hours or so, since she stopped infront of a shop. It was still there. She stared at it amazed, seeing that it was still the same old cloth shop. Katherine started laughing softly, and turned around staring at the empty street. "Oh, Stefan, Stefan.. We shall see if you've really changed" She thought. She could sense him, she swore that his scent was still there, floating in the air. It was delicious as always, even as a vampire, Stefan was attractive for Katherine, fascinating actually. She heard a soft whisper and turned around, only to see an old man, probably a homeless guy. The guy stared at her up and down and smiled. Katherine cocked her head to the side and smiled back, showing her white teeth, and stepping forward to him. She couldn't resist it. Katherine was hungry and he seemed to be delicious.. "Game On" Were the words, she heard inside her mind over and over again, as she broke the guy's neck and placed her lips on his throat.

It was definately a beautiful night. It was a shame she wasn't in her own time - in the future - with her parents. It would have been nice to lay outside in the back garden of their home on this night. As it was she was in the past trying to find the time traveller ( other then her ) who wants to change the past as she knows it. So far no luck. Caprice wasn't giving up though. She would find the person. She was a Salvatore after all. They never gave up, and one way or another always got their man. Of course no one but Elena in this time knew who she was and what she was. Caprice intended on keeping it that way. Until she could get home Caprice was crashing at Elena's place. The benefits of being half witch, which meant half mortal, Caprice did not have to be invited anywhere to get inside. She had left Elena sleeping to take a walk. There was too much going on in her head for her to be able to sleep. Caprice had hoped a walk would help clear her head but she seemed to be thinking just as much as she would not on a walk. A deep sigh left her plump lips as she began walking down the high street.
It wasn't long before she heard a voice. A familiar one. Was that Elena? Frowning, Caprice went in the direction of the voice and soon found herself face to face with someone who looked just like Elena. It wasn't Elena. Caprice knew this mostly because the woman's fangs were in a guy's neck. Yeah, dead give away. There was only one person this could be, Katherine. They really were like identical twins. It was rather creepy. All that aside, Caprice thought whether Katherine was due here at this time in her parents' past. Yes, it would work. Certain events followed after Bonnie's return from her aunts which involved Katherine and her games. She supposed though no one was supposed to see her yet for a while. Caprice gave a shrug. It wouldn't mean her since she wasn't even born in this time period. She didn't even exsist here, hence why she was sent.
"Hello Katherine. Now, I've heard you and Elena are freaky lookalikes, but this is beyond creepy. You know, if you didn't vamp out no one would be able to tell the difference. Anyway, you are going to have to let that man go, alive. As homeless as he is, he doesn't deserve to die to feed you."
Caprice spoke up, leaning casually against the brick wall as she stared at Katherine with a casual expression. Something she had picked up from her father. Damon did enjoy intimidating people and for some reason looking nonchalant and completely at ease tended to do that. It also tended to hide any plans you were working on. For Caprice, it was hiding the fact she was a hybrid, and had abilities from both her witch and vampire halves. Caprice really did not want to have to reveal what she could do, but knew if it came down to it she would use her magic. She could not pass for a vampire with her heart beating as it did so she always had to pretend she was just a witch and nothing more. It was hard since Caprice was so used to using her vampire abilities. It was like second nature to her. She was pretty sure though she could hide her vampire abilities. As long as she didn't get caught in a difficult situation where no magic would help her.

Closed her eyes as she swallowed. Through the years, she had learned how to drink and kill, with security, but still, always looking like a lady. As always, she was lost in her deeps thoughts, until a voice made her open her eyes suddenly. She let go of the body, and stood up, trying really carefully not to get her heels dirty with the blood that was coming out of the body. She rolled her eyes, seeing that the poor man was already dead. Katherine sighed, she always enjoyed a good meal, when the victims were still alive. Only then, She turned around to see who was the one speaking. Her eyes, narrowed observed the girl. There was something strange in that girl. She looked familiar, or really similar to someone, but Katherine could not tell who the girl was. As soon as Caprice spoke her name, Katherine's eyes widened and she smirked softly, flipping her hair to the side. Of course she was scared and surprised right now, but she wasn't going to prove it. A scared Katherine, wasn't natural. She cleared her throat, raising her eyebrows. Pity, he's already dead. She smirked again, kicking the body softly, and rolling her eyes. Well, a girl that looks like me? That's something I've never heard before. They're always saying I'm unique and beautiful. She smiled brightly. She knew about Elena already, but she needed to hide everything she knew, she didn't want to be noticed yet. Obviously, this was making things harder, but she would figure out what to do in a few minutes. Katherine always had a backup plan, and then a backup plan for the backup plan. Who are you? She asked in a dry voice. That girl was making her really uncomfortable, and she had this kind of feeling that she shouldn't mess up with her.

Caprice raised an eyebrow as Katherine pretty much denied knowing she had a doppleganger. She supposed she wasn't really expecting Katherine to admit it and be a walk over, but she hadn't really expected her to flat out deny it like that. She had heard her father and uncle mention she was dangerous. Honestly, looking at Katherine right now she couldn't see why they'd say that. Of course she did know appearances can be deceiving, so Caprice knew never to underestimate anyone. She supposed she was pretty lucky right now that Katherine didn't know who she was or who her family was. Otherwise they'd be in danger. The less she told Katherine the better. Still, Caprice could not resist having a little fun with Katherine. The time traveller wasn't appearing so why not pass the time a little by poking Katherine verbally? Who knows, maybe it would lead to a fight. It would be nice to actually spar with someone. Every time she tried her father usually stepped in and claimed she couldn't handle herself. Honestly, he was overprotective and loved to be the hero. It would be fun to see if she could really handle herself in a fight.
"Okay, so I'm definately going to skip the whole blatant lie thing, since that would really get old, and by the looks of it the more time you are spared the better. Are they wrinkles?"
Caprice taunted, a mischevious smirk upon her plump lips as she tilted her head and continued to stare Katherine down. If this led to a fight she knew she could only use her witch abilities. She had a beating heart, Katherine would hear this, and so using any vampire abilities were definately not going to happen. It would just raise more questions. Of course it would be best Katherine didn't know she was a witch since she would need one, but Caprice wasn't going to let herself be used. As long as Katherine didn't know who her family was or protective over then she should be pretty much safe as well as them. She shook her head with a playful expression on her face when Katherine asked who she was. Glancing up at Katherine she spoke,
"You can call me whatever you like sugar."
She purred, teasing her.
"Seriously though, I know you, and you don't know me. Its just the way I like it."

Folded her arms, shifting her weight from one foot to another. Katherine stepped forward, smirking softly and looking at the girl up and down. "Be careful with those words, sweety. If you know me, you should know I could kill you with one hand, without even looking at you." She laughed softly, and cocked her head to the side. She always had that innocent look, especially with someone that didn't know her for real. Katherine cleared her throat again and stared at her nails. "Where are the Salvatore brothers, Having fun without me?" She said, trying to see if Caprice reacted to the name. Katherine smiled softly and stretched her finger, to touch the girl's hair.Smirked and laughing when Caprice said "Seriously though, I know you, and you don't know me. Its just the way I like it."Katherine flipped her hair and cocked her head to the side. "You don't know me at all! If you did, you should know. I'm not exactly the person you should tease, girl. Lucky you, I'm not feeling like being a bitch tonight."

Caprice thought briefly. Was it really wise to provoke Katherine? What if she found out who was close to her? She supposed her parents would be warning her against provoking Katherine. Yet it was so much fun. Especially since she did not like being called 'sweetie' especially by the likes of Katherine. She raised a well manicurred eyebrow when Katherine asked about the Salvatore brothers. So she was fishing for what she knew. It was rather amusing. Caprice put on her best 'I have no idea who you are talking about' look and tilted her head as she stared at Katherine. Sometimes, Caprice did think she should become an actress. That is if she wasn't a rare hybrid made up of two supernatural species. Yeah, wouldn't want the paparazzi or anyone for that matter finding that out. The only people who knew what and who she was, was infact her family in the future ( her present ) and Elena in this time period ( her past ). It was definately a little of a lonely exsistance knowing she couldn't tell anyone what she really was, but she knew it was for her best interests. So many people would either seek to kill her or use her for their own means. It wouldn't be good.
"I have no idea who you are talking about. Do they run the local grocery store?"
Caprice asked in her best 'blonde bimbo barbie' impression. Spending time with Caroline definately had helped.

Katherine laughed out loud, fliping her hair to the side. She stared at Caprice and in less than a second, pushed her against the wall, and grabbed her neck, almost lifting her from the ground. Her eyes were black, and you could see her sharp fangs. "Don't act like you don't know, you don't fool me. I could break every single one of your bones, and do my hair at the same time. Believe me, I've been there. It's not exactly nice" Katherine smiled, amused. She touched the girls hair with one finger, almost in a sweet way. There was something weird in that girl, Katherine could feel her heart beating, but at the same time she knew that Caprice wasn't exactly human. Katherine sighed, the last thing she needed now was another scandal. When she found out that the tomb had been opened, she almost ran back to Mystic Falls. But not without a plan, that's why she needed people not to see her. Katherine thought about what she was doing twice, and stepped back. She narrowed her eyes, staring at Caprice. "I swear, If you tell someone about this, I'll come back and I'll haunt you. If you actually know me, I'm sure you've heard what I'm capable of."

Caprice merely let Katherine grab her around the throat and lift her up. She could get out of it, quite easily probably, but she thought why not let Katherine play a little. It was always fun having someone think they were the top dog and then cutting them down to size seconds later. Caprice couldn't help but smirk, identical to her father's, as Katherine ranted and stroked her hair. She really was a psycopath. She had to wonder why or how her father and uncle fell for her once upon a time. She supposed that was questions and a story for another time. Besides, Caprice did not want Katherine to know who she was related to or close to. She would not put anyone in danger. Besides, she could take care of herself anyway. Right?
"You could do with a new haircut. I mean long and curly, seriously? Thats so last season. Bobs are the way to go this season. I think you'd look a hell of a lot better with a bob. Plus you wouldn't be able to masquerade as your doppleganger. It would be a win-win."
Caprice responded, teasing Katherine. Probably not the best idea but then again, she was Damon's daughter. Best ideas didn't always run in that family.

Katherine's eyes wandered through the street, making sure that nobody was there, but them two. As soon as Caprice started talking, she eyed her, offering that innocent smile of hers. Katherine heard how the other girl, started to criticize her hair. "Ouch, that hurts." She said, laughing softly, in a sarcastic way, obviously. After all these years, she had learned how to manage the insults, without reacting to them. After walking on earth, between humans for 535 years, you know how to control yourself when it comes to them. Katherine would laugh out loud, when Caprice started talking about Elena, especially when she said " It would be a win-win." She still couldn't believe why everybody seemed to be obsessed with her doppleganger. She cocked her head to the side, and blinking twice, she smiled again. "Don't you get it? I'm going to be the only one that wins here. If you don't know that yet, you must be really stupid."

"Okay, say you do by some miracle win. What does that consist of for you?"
Caprice responded with a smirk. Perhaps it would be fun to humour her for a little while. Well, maybe about five minutes. She had some time to kill. Besides, it would probably be best to humour Katherine between provoking her. She put her hands around Katherine's hand on her throat and gently began encouraging Katherine to let go. She could use her magic or vampire abilities to make Katherine let go but that would make Katherine want to know more about her. It was best to pretend for now she was a helpless little human. That is until it became life or death and then of course Caprice would fight for her life. She didn't see that happening though right now.
"I wouldn't say I'm stupid... No, I'm not stupid. I just don't know when to call it quits. I'm like a snake I suppose, there is always room to wriggle out - if its needed."
She replied, pretty happy with the way she could go round in circles with just words. Then again after growing up with Damon as her father she learned such techniques from him since she could understand he was making words. It stuck ever since. When her toes finally touched the floor she wriggled them a little just to make sure they didn't have any pins and needles.

Katherine laughed out loud. She had to say, even though that girl was a pain on her ass, she had an attitude that Katherine would usually approved on girls, quite similar to hers actually. Caprice reminded her of someone, but Katherine couldn't remember who, even if she tried really hard, the thought just wouldn't appear on her head. Katherine folded her arms, shifting her weight from one foot to another. She loved to feel the leather of her jacket on her skin, and the fresh breeze on her hair. She would smile softly, and shrug, cocking her head to the side. "Okay, say you do by some miracle win. What does that consist of for you?" As soon as Caprice pronounced those words, Katherine couldn't help but smirk and shake her head. "Games are fun for me, especially if I win, but even if i don't. I know i'll eventually get what I want. She smiled sweetly, and leaned against the wall, staring at her nails. She would have to get going soon, it wasn't exactly the best place to be right now.

"You certainly believe that."
Caprice responded with a shrug and a smirk. As much as Caprice wanted to tease Katherine by saying she'd end up loosing she knew she couldn't. She wouldn't ruin the time line. She had to make sure everything happened as it should. She couldn't allow anything to go wrong. She glanced back at the homeless guy in the alley way and wondered what she was going to do with him. Should she just call the police or bury him? Caprice supposed she hadn't come before Katherine sank her fangs into the man so she hadn't changed history at all. Therefore it was the police it was. Or, well, the sherrif. Taking out her phone she made an anonymous call to the sherrif's office and they said they would send someone immediately. Hanging up she shoved her phone into her back pocket before glancing at Katherine. Caprice knew she should probably warn her about the sherrif coming. It wasn't Katherine's time to go down.
"The sherrif is coming to clean up your meal. I suggest you leave, and don't think because I am giving you this warning I am on your side, because I am not. Its just not the time for something stupid to happen."

Katherine cocked her head to the side, and started to play with her hair as she stared at the girl calling the police. She quirked an eyebrow and placed one of her hands on her hips. "Really? That's all you've got?" She would asked, staring at the homeless guy, who had been dead, for a good 20 minutes already. Katherine rolled her eyes, and sighed deeply. "Ugh, they are so much better when they're alive.." She shrugged softly, and nodded her head. Katherine sighed again, shifting her weight from one foot to another, and making an gesture with her right hand, like if she was asking a dog to leave. "You can go now." Katherine would turn around, ignoring Caprice, and just looking at the guy, just then , she turned around again, smiling softly, looking at Caprice with that 'I have a plan' look. "Actually, you know what? Send my love to the Salvatore brothers, I'm sure they'll be thrilled to know, I'm back." Katherine smirked for the last time, and in less than a second, she grabbed the body, and just ran, only like a vampire could. She would probably hide the body somewhere nobody could find it, like the woods, not like she cared.

Caprice raised an eyebrow as Katherine attempted to shoo her away like a dog. When Katherine got a calculating look on her face Caprice knew she was up to something. Within seconds she saw Katherine run off at vampire speed with the homeless guy's body. Without a second though Caprice sped after Katherine, making sure to stay quiet so Katherine didn't hear her or see her running like this. She did not need Katherine guessing there was something new about her. As soon as she could see Katherine, Caprice ran through her head for a spell. In the end she chose a fire spell. She focused and within seconds there was a ring of fire around Katherine, like a fire wall in a circle. The flames were twice as tall as Katherine, and since Katherine would be unable to see her, Caprice came to a halt just infront of the flames. Now she had Katherine trapped Caprice knew she had to figure out what to do next. She needed to get the homeless guy back and not hurt Katherine - unfortunately.
"I am going to need that corpse Katherine. So you can either hand it over peacefully or I am going to have to make you."
Caprice spoke, clearly threatening her. Of course Katherine didn't know that Caprice could not actually physically hurt her or risk altering the timeline. That was definately a plus. Caprice just hoped Katherine would agree to hand over the body and do so because she had no idea what to do if she didn't.

Katherine widened her eyes. "What the..?" She whispered, as soon as she saw the fire. She would turn around and, try to look at the person who was doing that. It was obviously Caprice, because basically, it was the only person she had talked to since she appeared on Mystic Falls. Katherine started laughing. "A witch? You're a witch? She would leave the corpse next to her own feet. As soon as the girl asked for the corpse, Katherine quirked her eyebrow and placed one of her hands on her hips. She couldn't help enjoying that, finally something interesting was happening, even though it could be dangerous for her, Mystic Falls wasn't the boring town, she had lived in, anymore. Katherine sighed, and just looked at the fire, she had always loved fire, even if it was amazingly dangerous for her. "If you want it, come and get it." It's all she would say right now, she wasn't going to make it easier for anyone, Katherine liked gamed, and this was a whole new game for her.
